Daily Routines

Well I haven't had a daily routine for years, but I'm starting one again. I want to increase my work rate and endurance in my fights. I used to do traditional strength training. Split body parts, 3x10 sets of heavy weight. I'm changing things up now.

This morning I did a weighted circuit routine that I plan to do every other morning for the next 6 - 8 weeks


30 minutes non stop with 80lbs + bar

10 Bent over rows
10 stiff leg dead lift
10 squats
10 over head presses
10 bench presses

I just repeated this for the entire 30 minutes.
Wow I was spent when I was finished almost wanted to just curl back up in bed
but had to eat breakfast shower and head to work. Boy I picked the wrong day to come off vacation

Tomorrow I am going to combine an ab circuit routine with shadow boxing or bag work. 5x5 min rounds throwing combos as hard and as fast as I can.

Haven't designed the ab routine yet...but I'll be sure to keep you posted tomorrow after I've done it.

All the above is in addition to my Martial Arts routine at the gym.

Today was a light work out.
I had to drop my mother in law somewhere and I went to bed late because I suspect I was being followed last night. The car chase kinda had my adrenaline pumping so I couldn't sleep.

I got up late

did 100 jumping jacks
dynamic leg stretches. (swinging the leg up and down like an axe kick to stretch the hamstrings and like a side kick to stretch the inner thighs)
did 40 crunches
15 situps with 40lbs on my chest
10 situps to standing position with some punch combos
10 pushups

10 minutes of shadow boxing
20 side V crunches on each side

it was more like a warm up in the morning. Did some splits after to keep limber
